Phil D.

Phil has worked for many years in the pet industry, most recently at The Pet Company, a local pet supply store. There, he was responsible for managing all the day-to-day duties of running the business as well as the constant care and monitoring of all live pets (including fish, reptiles, birds, small mammals, cats and dogs). Phil resides in Midland Beach and enjoys spending time with friends and family, both 2 and 4 legged!

Casey lives in Travis with her family American Bulldog/Boxer mix named Rocky and six cats. She is a Paraprofessional with the NYC Dept of Education but finds working with animals makes her the happiest! Before the Dept of Ed, Casey worked for two years at a local doggie daycare. She has experience working with animals of all shapes and sizes and can’t wait to meet your adorable pets!

Brian R.

All his life, Brian grew up caring for pets, including turtles, birds, fish, and cats. So it comes as no surprise that Brian is one of Happy at Home’s most requested sitters. Dogs literally steal their parent’s cell phones to call Brian and ask him to come over for a visit. Besides being a total celebrity with the Staten Island pet population, he’s a celebrity with us. Brian is a caring, reliable, hard worker that we simply can’t (and refuse to) live without! Presently, Brian resides in Old Town with his 2 Coonhound/Lab mixes, JayJay and Reilly.

I love animals! A lifelong resident of Oakwood, Theresa volunteers as a foster mom for a local animal rescue. And even with her own 2 dogs at home, she still finds room to take in four-legged temporary tenants. Theresa believes there is nothing more rewarding than fostering a dog or cat and helping them make the transition from shelter to a new adoptive family. She looks forward to providing excellent care to your pets as part of the Happy at Home team!

Scott

What’s Scott’s favorite thing in the world? The answer would be his 3 yr. old schnauzer, Pavlov! Growing up in the suburbs of North Jersey, Scott has been pet sitting for neighbors and family friends since he was just a kid. He loves spending time outdoors with his four-legged buddies and likes to take pics to keep you updated on all the fun they’re having.

Mike came to Happy at Home from the very successful doggie daycare in Manhattan, where he started out as a dog handler and worked his way up to shift supervisor. He takes his job very seriously, but at the same time, gets to play with dogs all day long. How fun is THAT? Mike resides in Great Kills with his 8 yr. old Papillion, Gizmo, and two exotic birds, Buddy and Austin.

Lisa C.

Lisa was a client of Happy at Home and liked us so much, she became a team member! And she will tell you it is one of the greatest “jobs” she’s ever had. It’s really too much fun to be considered a job! Lisa lives in New Dorp with her cat Belle, adopted from the Staten Island Council for Animal Welfare (SICAW). She would love to have more animals but since she can’t at this time, Lisa fills that void by spoiling yours!
